where are eco-towns proposed?

On 16 July 2009 the Department of Communities and Local Government (CLG) announced the locations which had been identified as suitable for the first potential eco-towns and the final eco-town standards. The developers of the proposed eco-towns will need to put their specific proposals through the normal local planning process which will involve further public consultation on the details.
